Sonic being single stamp by YuiHarunaShinozaki Sonic being single stamp by YuiHarunaShinozaki
Inspired by this stamp

Poor Sonic, he's probably one of the worst victims of shipping wars.

Perhaps he's being paired with a lot of girls over the years in the comics, TV-series and other media (ex. Sally, Amy, Mina, Elise etc.) and he had two scrapped girlfriends (Tiara Boobowski and Madonna).

But I guess is okay for him being single.

Here's some words by Yuji Naka said about Amy marrying Sonic
"There will hardly be any chance, I bet. Amy will continue to pursue Sonic all the time, but Sonic will not ever get married. I think so, because I cannot picture the image of Sonic that he is married and has his children! Also, I feel it is a more Amy's style to always chase Sonic"

So anyway, this stamp for those who like our hedgie going solo.

So let Sonic run free like the wind!

Sonic the hedgehog belongs to SEGA :iconsegaplz: and Sonic Team :iconsonicteamplz:

Sonic to me is a guy who seeks adventure and who loves to travel the world at his leisure, I always felt the idea of him being tied down with duties or a relationship hurts his character and makes him less interesting. Sonic is like Luffy from One Piece, a free spirit who doesn't like trivial things to stand in the way of living his life to the fullest. I think Sonic should be relationship free because to me he doesn't seem like the type of character who would want to settle down and marry, and honestly he's better when he's travelling with companions, having fun and stopping Dr. Robotnik's/Eggman's schemes. One of the things that always bothered me about SatAM and Archie is that Sonic is stuck with duties and in a relationship, he can't be himself, he's always forced to sneak around in the dark to fight Robotnik instead of straight up destroying his stuff like in the games and it always feels like he's anchored down in Knothole/Mobotropolis with Sally instead of travelling the world and adventuring. When you tie Sonic down, he loses a lot of his interest and appeal to me.

I support heroes making their own DA** CHOICES!:shakefist:
BUT! I agree with your statement, too many fangirls makes a guy wanna be single! And hate being in a committed relationship that ties you down a lot! Sonic would rather be free as a bird without a care in the world! Still, I'd let him choose this path for himself.

What I mean is that it was written on a fan site and not an official site or in an actual interview thus it's not canon or real.
pkstarstorm1up Featured By Owner Nov 11, 2012
You do realize that that link leads to a fake interview right? Because that interview never actually happened. Everytime it's shown it never links to an official Sega and Sonic Team website thus it never happened.

So the whole thing that "Sonic has feelings for Amy, but he's to shy to admit it" is fake as well? Cause I do because People can make it up to think it is real.
