Many people think that Barbie is the ultimate Mary-Sue and some think that the CGI movies are part of the cause (just blame the Disney princess franchise for those movies)
But actually Barbie can be a good model for girls since she shows that a girl can become anything: a doctor , a teacher, a ballerina, well anything (Hey, at least she's WAY better than the Bratz dolls
)
At least in Toy Story 3, she had flaws and more character.
She was shy and sweet but you can also tell she can be tough when she needs it and also she's pretty smart not a dumb blonde like many believed (I mean look near the end of the movie before the toys nearly escape Sunnyside before the dump sequence ).
And like Ken said, you might never find another Barbie like her
