Chapter 13: On my Own/One Day More
A while later, it was raining when Sayaka had arrived at the streets near the ABC Cafe.
Sayaka: On my own
Pretending he's beside me
All alone, I walk with him till morning
Without him, I feel his arms around me
And when I lose my way
I close my eyes and he has found me
In the rain
The pavement shines like silver
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness
The trees are full of starlight
And all I see is him and me

She sighed sadly.
And I know
It's only in my mind
That I'm talking to myself

She walked over to a building.
And although I know that he is blind

Sayaka sank to the ground and burst into tears.

Finally, the rain let up and Sayaka got up and walked back to Yugi's apartment. As she walked inside, she stared at the letter, debating whether or not to give it to him.

Meanwhile, Sulley and Madoka were riding in the carriage to their other apartment and later prepared themselves for their self-exile at England.
Sulley: One day more
Another day, another destiny

Back at the apartment, Yugi noticed that Sayaka had arrived. One look at her face and Yugi seemed to realize that Madoka was gone. He quickly left the apartment and arrived back at the old house and knocked on the door, but no one was home.
This never-ending road to Calvary
These men who seem to know my crime
Will surely come a second time
One day more
Yugi looked absolutely devastated.
Yugi: I did not live until today
How can I live when we are parted?

In the carriage, Sulley looked over, noticing how sad Madoka looked.
Sulley: One day more
Madoka and Yugi: Tomorrow, you'll be worlds away
And yet with you, my world has started
Sulley glanced over at Madoka once more in concern.

Back at the apartment, Sayaka was wrapping bindings around her chest so she could disguise herself as a boy.
Sayaka: One more day all on my own

Meanwhile, Yugi was walking home, numb with sadness.
Madoka and Yugi: Will we ever meet again?
Sayaka: One more day with him not caring
Yugi and Madoka: I was born to be with you
Sayaka: What a life I might have known
Madoka and Yugi: And I swear I will be true

Once Sayaka was finished binding her breasts, she put a hat on, tucking her hair in.
Sayaka: But he never saw me there

At the ABC Cafe, all the students were preparing for the coming revolution.
Mako: One more day before the storm
Yugi: Do I follow where she goes?
Mako: At the barricades of freedom
Yugi: Shall I join my brothers there?
Mako: When our ranks begin to form
Yugi: Do I stay and do I dare?
Mako: Will you take your place with me?
Townspeople and Students: The time is now!
The day is here!
Sulley: One day more!

At the police headquarters, Rourke was briefing a hundred police officers about the coming day.
Rourke: One day more to revolution
We will nip it in the bud
We'll be ready for these schoolboys
They will wet themselves with blood!
Sulley: One day more!

Back at the ABC Cafe, Syndrome and Gothel were doing what they did best.
Syndrome: Watch 'em run amuck
Gothel: Catch 'em as they fall
Both: Never know your luck
When there's a free-for-all
Gothel kissed a man while Syndrome robbed him of a small pouch of money.
Syndrome: Here a little dip
Gothel: There a little touch
Both: Most of them are goners
So they won't miss much!

The students began cleaning the barrels of their guns.
Students and Crowd: One day to a new beginning!
Raise the flag of freedom high!

At that moment, Yugi came in, snatched a red flag from Miss Pinster, much to her annoyance, and ran upstairs.
Yugi: My place is here!

Mako smiled.

Sulley: One day more!
Rourke: We will join these people's heroes
We will follow where they go
Madoka and Yugi: I did not live until today

Sayaka stared longingly up at the cafe where Yugi was.
Sayaka: One more day all on my own
Rourke: We will learn their little secrets
We will know the things they know
Madoka and Yugi: And yet with you, my world has started
Sulley: One day more!
Madoka and Yugi: Tomorrow you'll be worlds away
Rourke: One more day to revolution
Sayaka: What a life I might have known
Rourke: We will nip it in the bud
Madoka and Yugi: And yet with you, my world has started
Rourke: We'll be ready for these schoolboys

Meanwhile, Sulley and Madoka had arrived at their apartment and got out of their carriage. Once they were inside their apartment, Sulley closed the doors.
Sulley: Tomorrow we'll be far away
Sulley and Rourke: Tomorrow is the judgment day
All: Tomorrow we'll discover
What our God in heaven has in store!
One more dawn!
