Chapter 14: Do you hear the people sing?/Building the barricade
The next morning, the funeral procession for General Minato Namikaze was taking place. As the procession made its way down the street, Dash and his friends watched from their spot on the Elephant of the Bastille. Mako and the other students were among the crowd, as was Rourke, disguised as a revolutionary, waiting to strike. As the carriage containing Minato's coffin approached, the students began to sing, and soon the crowd began to join in.

Finally, the students broke their cover and Mako stepped in front of the procession and waved his red flag, stopping the horse and procession.
Then join in the fight

Yugi and Mordecai climbed on top of the carriage where General Minato's coffin was.

The crowd surrounded the carriage and Rourke began to follow as the carriage continued down the street. Dash and his friends were now waving flags.

As the carriage continued to move, a student put an arm around a soldier, who was also singing, like they were good friends.

Soon enough, the carriage stopped as a group of soldiers rode up. Yugi and Mako turned off the safety on their pistols and aimed at the soldiers.
The soldiers drew their swords. Just then, a particularly nervous-looking soldier named Yon Rha fired his gun and shot a middle-aged woman named Muriel, killing her.
"She's an innocent woman!" One student shouted.
"Murderer!" Another student shouted.
With that, all heck broke loose as a group of students charged at Yon Rha, pulled him out of his hiding place, and knocked him down with the hilt of his gun, and the cavalry charged.
"Put them to the right!" Yugi shouted.
Mako shot down a soldier and one soldier struck Mordecai down, but Rourke caught him and helped him up.
"Thank you, sir," Mordecai told him, before he rushed off.
Yugi mounted a horse while holding a red flag, as Mako yelled, "To the barricades!"
"Vive la France!" Yugi shouted, as he rode back to the ABC Cafe.
Everyone began to construct makeshift barricades and shoot at the soldiers, as a student yelled, "To the barricades!"
"Vive la France!" Dash yelled.
Rourke followed the students as they were chased down the street.

Soon enough, they had arrived in their home street, yelling, "Go, go, go!" Once they arrived at the ABC Cafe, Yugi dashed inside past Bolin, who was getting friendly with a girl named Korra.
"Get up off your arse!" Yugi told him. "It's begun!"

Soon, Garry rushed inside and said to Miss Pinster, "Sorry, ma'am!" as he cleared a table much to her indignant.
Yugi tossed down some muskets and grinned at Mako, as Rourke arrived.
"We need as much furniture as you can throw down!" Ace Bunny called up to the citizens in their homes. The citizens began tossing furniture and other things out the window. "Throw everything you have!"

Inside of the cafe, Rourke grabbed a red, white, and blue patch and pinned it on his outfit before walking outside and helping construct the barricade.

"No!" Miss Pinster said to Bolin, as she remained sitting in her chair, until Bolin kissed her in the cheek, making her stand up, before he took her chair and said, "Thanks," before he ran outside to put it in as part of the barricade.
"I need a volunteer," Mako said. "Someone who can find out their plan and when they will attack."
That was when Rourke stepped in

Tristan patted him on the shoulder.
Tristan: See? The people unite!
Bolin: I pray you're right
Rip Runner: Dogs will bark!
Dash: Fleas will bite!
Bakura: They will do what is right!
As Rourke hurried off to 'find out what the soldiers were planning', Mako and Yugi climbed up the barricade.
Mako: Red, the blood of angry men!
Students: Black, the dark of ages past!
Red, a world about to dawn!
Black, the night that ends at last!...
